Overview of the league
GPFFL is a close knit friendly yet competitive community. as such both our Open and Womens+ leagues reflect this. Captains are volunteer Season by season, and teams change every season through a draft by the captains before the season starts.
in Open over the course of around 8-10 weeks, each team will play 2 games per week and face each other team 3-4 times over the course of the season before heading into a one week playoffs!
In Womens+ our structure is a little more fluid as our league grows! in our last season, we had 3 teams play each other several times, with one team per week having a double header and playing both. As we grow this part of our league we will continue to update the structure for the most competition and fun possible.

WOMEN'S+ LEAGUE
Our Women’s Plus Division is committed to creating space for all women to build community together. The Women’s+ division is for ALL people that identify as women, trans, and gender non-conforming. In 20223, the division started with a Spring pick up league and a Fall Season with 3 teams.

Our Women’s Plus Division is committed to creating space for all women to play football and build community together. Our league focused on LGBTQIA identified folks and their allies, the women’s plus division is for ALL people that identify as women, trans, and gender non-conforming. This division started in 2022 with a Spring pick up league and a Fall Season with 3 teams. We hosted our first playoff weekend in November 2022 and crowned our first champions!
ALL SKILL LEVELS are welcomed to come out and play in the league. We host skill days before the season and captains may host more as the season progresses. Captains are asked to make sure the game is clearly explained and when possible things are slowed down for teachable moments. If you have any other questions please head over to FAQ to find out more!
